The Department of Surgery is capable to treat, on a daily 24h basis, a multitude of surgical cases from every field of Surgical Medicine. It is staffed by well-trained and experienced scientific staff, which provides high quality medical services. At the same time, the use of modern high standards equipment (clinical-laboratory) together with the support and cooperation of large Treatment Centers, contributes significantly to the execution of treatment surgeries and the treatment of emergencies as well as chronic diseases, through the most contemporary methods of General and Laparoscopic Surgery.
